Conversion Rate Optimisation for Ecommerce Stores

Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) means making more of your existing visitors buy. Zenvy studies analytics, heatmaps and session recordings to find where shoppers drop off, then redesigns and tests landing pages, product pages, cart and checkout to fix those leaks one by one.

Talk about CRO

What’s included

  • Analytics and funnel audit
  • Heatmaps and session recording review
  • Landing page and product page redesigns
  • Cart and checkout improvements
  • A/B test plan and setup
  • Average order value tactics: bundles, upsells, free shipping thresholds

Research first, opinions second

We start with data: where people leave, what they click, what they ask your support team. Each change we propose is tied to a problem we can see in that data.

Tests that are big enough to matter

Small button-colour tests rarely move revenue. We prioritise changes to offer, page structure and trust that can make a real difference, and test them properly where traffic allows.

CRO for COD and mobile shoppers

Most Pakistani shoppers buy on mobile and pay cash on delivery, so conversion work starts with the COD path: show delivery cost, time and returns on the product page, keep the order form to name, validated mobile number, city and address, show the final total, and confirm the order on WhatsApp.

Product page trust

Delivery cost and time, returns policy and a WhatsApp contact near the buy button.

One-page COD form

Name, mobile number, city and address. Every extra field is a reason to stop.

Number validation and city dropdown

Check the mobile number format and use a city list, so couriers can deliver and fewer orders fail.

WhatsApp confirmation

Confirm each order on WhatsApp before it ships.

Test on a low-end Android

Load and order on a budget phone over mobile data, the way many of your customers will.

What we measure

We follow each step from product view to delivered order: view, add to cart, checkout, order placed, order confirmed and order delivered. The delivered step matters most for COD stores, because a placed order is not yet a sale. See also the 7-block landing page.

A/B tests or before-and-after reads, then the next round.

Frequently asked questions

What is conversion rate optimisation?

Conversion rate optimisation is the process of increasing the share of visitors who buy or enquire. It combines research, design changes and testing on the pages that matter most, usually landing pages, product pages, cart and checkout.

How much traffic do I need for A/B testing?

A/B tests need enough orders to reach a reliable result. With lower traffic we focus on research-backed fixes and compare before-and-after periods instead of running formal tests.

Which tools do you use?

Typically GA4, Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar for heatmaps and recordings, and Shopify or a testing tool for experiments. We use the tools you already have where possible.

Is CRO only for Shopify stores?

No. The same process works on WooCommerce, custom sites and lead-generation landing pages. Most of our CRO work is on ecommerce stores.

Should I fix conversion before spending more on ads?

Usually yes. Every improvement in conversion rate makes each ad click worth more, so fixing obvious leaks first means your ad budget works harder.

How do I improve my Shopify store’s conversion rate in Pakistan?

Start with the mobile COD path. Show delivery cost, time and returns on the product page, cut the order form to name, mobile number, city and address, show the final total, and confirm orders on WhatsApp. Then test the product page and offer, measuring delivered orders, not just placed ones.

Which fields should a COD order form have?

Name, a validated mobile number, city (from a dropdown) and full address. Email can be optional. Show the delivery charge and final total before the order button, and send a WhatsApp confirmation after the order is placed.
